This body alarm is an excellent protection device.   Personally, I wear one clipped to my belt almost all the time in case of an emergency;  you never know when something may happen.  Since the unit looks so non threatening, actually it looks a lot like a pager, I can wear it out in the open & no one looks at it twice; they

think I'm wearing a pager.  It's a big advantage to have protection with you at all times; it's not paranoia, it's prudence.  If your bothered or feel threatened just pull the pin & an extremely loud 130 dB alarm sounds. 

Other uses include using alarm as a bicycle siren.  I use one on my bike and I won't go riding without one now.   When you ride in the city next to parked cars that inevitably open doors, when you ride in traffic with cars that don't look out for you and are much bigger than you, when you ride with public buses who aim for you, it's critical to have a siren to get attention.  The bicycle siren has saved my a** many times.

Dog walkers, joggers, bicyclists, hikers and backpackers; the body alarm is excellent for scaring away animals like aggressive stray dogs, bears and wildcats.  If you get in trouble the body alarm CRIES HELP FOR YOU!!

The sound is a weapon in itself.   It's so loud no one can stand it.

This alarm is built tough.  While it may cost a little more, there's a good reason for that.  Quality!!
